Bonding

Bonding can be a very slow process taking months, if not longer. You have to work at their speed not yours. A lot of PATIENCE, PATIENCE, PATIENCE. Some have describe it like "You take 3 steps forward and 2 steps back". So don't get discouraged. As they say "Any thing worth having, takes time".

You should have a pouch that you can hang around your neck to carry them around in, while you are around the house. This is so they can use to your scent and voice, as that is how they Identify you.

Getting a small tent like a "junior tent" for kids helps them bond faster. As they are force to interact with you in a small space. Which means they end up playing, and climbing on and off of you, and they find out you are safe to be with. If you don't have a tent you could use a small room like the bathroom that you have glider proofed. A large room is over-whelming for them to start with and you will have problems catching them to go back in their cage.

Glider proofing a room means to find all little holes and places they could crawal into that you can't get them out of. In the bathroom around pipes, spaces under cabinets, drains and air holes in fixers and make sure you close the lid on the toilet. That is the number one death trap for gliders, as they can't swim or get out. It is a good idea to get into the habit of closing the lid everytime after it is been used. Just incase the glider manages to gets out of it's cage. Better safe then sorry.
